I recently spoke at my old Highschool about having an innovative career, and what it takes to create your own.

Clarity is key to creating the life and career of your dreams. But when people here the word clarity they get all stressed out, as if they are supposed to know something and they don’t.

Clarity doesn’t have to be so complicated.

Here are 3 Questions to help you get clear now:
1. What really inspires you?
2. What are you doing when time disappears?
3. If you could be anything you wanted what would you be?

Deciding what to do with you life, isn’t about looking at the job market and seeing what is available. It is about connecting with your spirit and creating a life that makes you smile.

There was an opportunity to speak with the whole Highschool and share my own personal story of creating my life and career as a Soul Artist and entrepreneur. Then after there was a smaller mentor session where the students could ask me questions directly. During this session, I noticed how open these kids were to looking at the world in new ways.

I shared with them that I believe the jobs they will be doing don’t even exist yet, because they will be the creators of them. I told them their real job is to take the time they need to find out what makes their spirit sing!

Other Parkside Highschool Alumni spoke at this event including a CNN anchor, a woman who trains astronauts, and I really connected with Julie Daniluk (below right) who is an entrepreneur and nutritionist. She is the owner of ‘The Big Carrot’ health food store, and the host of ‘The Healthy Gourmet’ TV Show, and she has a book on the way.

Once you know what inspires you,  it can take shape in so many ways!
